Alteva is developing innovative, ultra-light lithium-sulphur batteries to build Europe's battery sovereignty and secure Europe's future leadership in electrified transportation. The batteries are based on raw materials and production processes that are exclusively available in Europe. In addition, alteva's lithium-sulphur batteries are up to three times lighter, more sustainable and much safer than existing technologies based on toxic heavy metals. This combination will make it possible to electrify 90% of the world's transportation, including aviation, long-haul trucking, heavy-duty machinery and maritime systems.
