We’re excited to announce the successful seed funding round of Cologne-based biotech startup SenseUP. A total of €2.4 million was raised, led by Capnamic, with participation from HBG Ventures, CHECK24 Impact, and Rockstart.
SenseUP is developing encapsulated, dsRNA-based biopesticides that target insects, fungi, and viruses – completely residue-free, non-toxic, and fully biological. This groundbreaking platform not only excels scientifically but is also scalable for industrial use.
The products are based on a patented fermentation technology using *Corynebacterium glutamicum*, a microorganism trusted in the food industry for decades.
The vision: high-tech agriculture that protects nature.
With this new funding, SenseUP aims to expand its product pipeline, strengthen strategic partnerships, and grow its team.
